Position: Assistant General Manager, Finance & Accounts

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare hospital finance strategic plan & implement that plan.
  • Oversee fund investments and collaborates with investment bankers to seek extra funding for development if required.
  • Independently lead and manage the Finance and Accounting division to ensure daily accounting work.
  • Provide Cost and Benefits Analysis for any new or renewal for services/leases/annual contracts that the company undertakes for decision making.
  • Provide insight, financial recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization.
  • Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company's plan for growth and expansion.
  • Analyze and make recommendations on organization internal reporting in order to best respond to the needs of key stakeholders.
  • To review the institution's financial conditions, financial position and recommend viable alternatives for establish credibility of accounts and finance department by providing timely and accurate accounting and financial service to the entire company.
  • Develop mid-month forecasts and propose action plans to take corrective actions before month end.
  • Manage timely completion of month-end financial close.
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements based on applicable laws, regulations and accounting standards as per group reporting calendar Train.
  • Ensure that all books of accounts (ledger, journal etc.) are maintained at full up-to-date condition all times.
  • Develop the finance team to be able to apply and execute financial policy and accounting procedure manual.
  • Independently lead and manage the Accounts Department to ensure daily accounting work in an efficient manner.
  • Tax management - Corporate Tax, Employee Tax and VAT.
  • Ensure cash flow is at the optimum level for the organization's operations
  • Lead and direct budgeting process.
  • Develop management reporting/ analytical tools/ key indicators for accounts and finance section.
  • Any other work / responsibility as and when assigned by the Management of the company.

Educational Requirements

  • BBA/MBA in Accounting/Finance from University of Dhaka
  • Professional qualification in FCMA/FCA

Experience Requirements

  • At least 12 year(s) professional experience in senior position in any organization preferably in Health Care Industry.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Excellent oral & Written communication skills with strong command in MS Excel & MS Word.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work order dates.
  • Ability to remain, objective and professional in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work in fast paced work environment both independently and in a group.
