Position: Site Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth execution of construction and other on-site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring they are executed according to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to maintain effective communication and workflow.
- Monitor the installation of steel structures and other construction elements, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards.
- Oversee the procurement and use of materials, ensuring optimal use and reducing wastage.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is progressing as planned and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all site workers.
- Maintain daily records of site activities, including work progress, material usage, and any issues encountered.
- Support the team in achieving project milestones and preparing reports for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in construction, with expertise in Civil Construction, steel structures; prior experience in solar based construction should be considered an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, project management, and structural engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with construction site tools, equipment, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to stay on-site in Bogra for the duration of the project.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and contractors.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
