Job Context

We are looking for an active, highly driven, organized, trustworthy Assistant General Manager (AGM) who knows the value of cooperation and has a thorough grasp of prospecting and building good connections with consumers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all allocated clients' bookings are managed on schedule.
  • For efficient service, handle customer HQ and customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Supervise and inspire employees, as well as give training and direction to conduct enormous sales and assess their performance and build new businesses, cultivate relationships with current and future consumers. Visit potential clients' offices on a regular basis, then utilize cold calling to create a customer base for your freight forwarding company chances.
  • Create and put into action plans to increase the NVOCC services' effectiveness, excellence, and profitability. By creating and putting into practice focused market strategies, increase sales. Make that the defined sales strategy, goals, and targets for revenue creation are implemented.
  • Formally representing our firm to consumers, the broader public, the government, and other outside sources. The company's information can be transferred over the phone or by e-mail.  Always keep an eye on the international freight forwarding market's developments and circumstances.
  • Any other task assigned by the management needs to be Complete.
  • Ensure that all sales and marketing activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Maintain specific software or database programs to run the sale process appropriately.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify and recruit top sales talent
  • Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives

Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Requirements: Graduate / Post-Graduate in any discipline from a Reputed University.

Skills Required: Computer skills, Sales & Marketing

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 10 year(s) years of experience in MLO, NVOCC or logistics management.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Marketing, Sales
  • Knowledge of NVOCC operations, procedures, and best practices
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of inside and outside sales techniques and procedures, and can demonstrate the ability for business development, client maintenance, and procurement of new accounts.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and organization skills
  • Must enjoy a fast-paced, multi-tasking, customer service-minded environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Office is a must.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with local and international trade laws, rules, and regulations.

Job Location: Dhaka
