Manager / Assistant Manager, Procurement

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Supplier routine management: Supplier Performance Evaluation and Sponsor Meeting, Problem solving between Company and Suppliers; Quality system audit ; EHS management ;
  • Supplier Qualification (Register): Per Company supplier register requirement to qualify good suppliers including engineering service and logistic and material suppliers.
  • Supplier selection/Procurement Bidding for the project: Using bidding methods to select competitive suppliers based on TCO (Total Cost Ownership) for cost saving or supplier optimization to support Company Bangladesh project delivery.
  • Supplier commercial negotiation: In some special cases need to negotiate with supplier for a better cost saving or more competitive teams or better advantages on commercial and technical solution;
  • Project Procurement request handling: To handle different requests from project team such as supplier problem solving and price providing for new engineering service and materials ; bidding support for new projects;
  • Procurement Strategy design and execute: To prepare procurement strategy& plan for supplier selection and report to Management team for strategy approval& execution.
  • Support the Procurement Director on the daily work: Such as following all KPIs from Regional Procurement Dept. and communicate with other Dept. for team work.
  • Supplier Development: To recognize good supplier and establish supplier development plan to help supplier grow with Company.
  • Any other task as assigned by the line supervisor.

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering background from a reputed university having good academic track records.

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in procurement or Project Management and Experience in Telecom business and related engineering service will be an added advantages.

Additional Requirements:  

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Speak English very well and if understand Chinese will be a good advantage.
  • Hard working spirit, can bear big work pressure and work independently.
  • Ability to easily adapt to changes.
  • Ideal candidate will demonstrate an energetic and "Can-Do" attitude.
