Job Responsibilities
- To run the Commercial Department of the Group independently, effectively and efficiently.
- Responsible to handle Customs, C&F, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Banking and Export-Import duty and VAT-TAX issues.
- Have sound knowledge in Banking System/FOC/Commercial item and H.S. Code(s) for imported goods and customs clearance formalities thereof.
- Ensure all logistics activities related to Import & Export, International Correspondence.
- Have practical knowledge of Import (Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Chittagong and Dhaka Customs, Bond) and Exports.
- Maintain and Handle Export - Import L/C and Export - Import, T.T. Documentation.
- Should be well conversant and capable of corresponding/negotiating with Supplier & Agent.
- Should have close relation with NBR, Tariff Commission and all Govt. Offices related to job responsibilities.
- Communicate with Supplier (Local & Foreign).
- Should have well knowledge on Commercial terms.
- Should have knowledge of pre-costing and budgeting in favor of business and employer.
- Any other task assigned by management.
