Job Summary:
We are hiring a dynamic and responsible Project Manager to oversee the setup and construction of a new restaurant in Mymensingh. The selected individual will work closely with workers, vendors, and the owner to ensure timely and quality completion of the project. Upon successful completion and performance, the candidate will have the opportunity to transition into the Restaurant Manager role for ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities: (During the Project Phase)
- Oversee all on-site construction and setup activities of the restaurant.
- Supervise workers and ensure work is being done according to plans and standards.
- Coordinate with interior designers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and setup.
- Maintain and update the project timeline, ensuring milestones are met.
- Manage all project-related financials: track expenses, prepare and execute payment schedules, and ensure timely disbursements.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date accounts of payments, invoices, and budgets.
- Monitor the use of project funds and report any issues or requirements to the owner.
- Serve as the owner’s representative for all site-level decisions and supervision.
- Stay in Mymensingh full-time for the entire duration of the project.
After Project Completion (based on performance):
- Transition into the role of Restaurant Manager.
- Take charge of daily restaurant operations, staffing, inventory, customer service, and vendor management.
- Oversee finances, sales tracking, and ensure profitability.
- Ensure hygiene, quality control, and excellent guest experiences.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in administration, project coordination, or management.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Financial handling and basic accounting knowledge is required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Must be willing to stay in Mymensingh during the project and take ownership of the entire process.
