Background:
Jagrata Juba Shangha (JJS)
JJS is a non-government, not for profit social and environmental development organization working since 1985 in the South-west coastal region of Bangladesh. JJS is working with people to improve their individual capitals and power to fight poverty, injustice and climate change in the region. The organization is playing pivotal role in the urban and rural areas of the costal belt through engaging itself in various development programs including climate change and disaster management, governance and human rights; water, environment and food sovereignty; child protection, gender mainstreaming, and empowerment of people with disability and other marginalized groups. Now, JJS is going to orient a climate center in Khulna financed by Concern World Wide Bangladesh.
Concern Worldwide:
Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization dedicated to the elimination of extreme poverty in 25 of the world’s poorest countries. Concern began its journey in 1968 in Ireland and it started working with the people of Bangladesh in 1972. Since then, Concern Worldwide has been working to address extreme poverty in the most vulnerable communities of the country by implementing need-based, innovative humanitarian and development projects. In Bangladesh, Concern Worldwide works jointly with non-governmental organizations, Civil Society Organizations, different government departments, the local private sector actors who are interested in contributing and other key stakeholders to ensure sustainable changes in the lives of the extreme poor.
We are invited to submit quotation for supplying 50 books regarding climate change and disaster for the climate center in Khulna as per enclosed list in respective letter head in a closed envelop from the respective vendors.
Closing date: Bidders have to submit quotation by 06 October 2024, 5.00 pm

jjsprocurementhub@@gmail.com or submit the hard copies at the JJS Head Office, 35/8 TB Cross Road, Khulna-9100, Bangladesh on or before 06 October 2024, 5.00 pm with all the necessary documents as mentioned in the ToR.
Terms and conditions:
- As per tender advertisement; incomplete quotation will be rejected.
- The vendors will have to submit the Update Trade License, TIIN certificate/ Tax return acknowledgement slip and BIN 13 digit Registration photocopy.
- Vendor has to supply 50 books to JJS Climate change center, Khulna as per attached list. Vendor is liable for any damage or loss and has to compensate accordingly.
- Organization doesn’t carrying Transportation cost.
- The payment will be provided through account pay cheque/ Pay order/ BEFTN.
- According to Government rules; JJS will de duct Vat & tax from the total bill based on the mentioned quotation. JJS will deposit the VAT and Tax to Government treasury.
- Authority preserves the right to reject any quotation without any mentioning any cause.
Breach of Code of Conduct and Sharing of Information:
We are required to share details of certain breaches of JJS/ Concern’s Code of Conduct, specifically those related to fraud, sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment and trafficking in persons, with external organizations such as institutional donors, regulatory bodies and future employers.
In the event where you have been found to be in breach of these aspects of JJS /Concern’s Code of Conduct, your personal details (e.g. name, date of birth, address and nationality) and details of these breaches will be shared with these external bodies. Organizations may retain this data and use it to inform future decisions about you.
In addition, where we are working in partnership with another organization and where there are allegations of breaches in the above areas against you, we will cooperate with any investigation being undertaken and will share your personal details with investigation teams.
