Trainer

Employment type: Trainer for Training Pool
Contract period: 12 (twelve) months, starting from September 2019

Location:  Dhaka, Bangladesh

Job summary

Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP) provides Interpersonal Communication Training to NGO and GO staff. CCP wants to develop a trainer pool selecting freelance trainers who will work as need based.  In this regard, CCP is seeking professional trainers who will interested to work with CCP as freelance trainers. Trainers will facilitate training sessions, write report and assist training related any other business. 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

The trainers will work to ensure timely delivery of the following:

  • Study IPC manual developed by JHU CCP
  • Get orientation on IPC training and facilitation style 
  • Observe IPC training conducted by JHU CCP staff
  • Facilitate sessions in the IPC training
  • Collect feedback from training participants
  • Write report of the training
  • Participate training need assessment and outreach activities
  • Assist training related any other business
  • Liaise and coordinate with CCP team

Employment status: Consultant

Desired education: Minimum Master’s degree from a reputed institution.

Experience requirements

  • Considerable experience on conducting training
  • Having knowledge on basic health & facilitation skills
  • Experienced in training management and coordination
  • Have good facilitation skills
  • Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines

Additional requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal relationships and team work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as and when required to the project locations
  • Both males and females are encouraged to apply
  • Language skills: Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Bangla
