  Brief description of JAAGO Foundation:

JAAGO Foundation is a civil society organization (CSO) working towards the education and social mobilization of the underprivileged masses of Bangladesh. With its mission to fight poverty, JAAGO pioneered a Free-of-Cost International Standard School for underprivileged children in remote areas of Bangladesh. JAAGO’s Youth Development Program focuses on national development via the reallocation of skills and resources to foster self–reliance and growth in every young citizen.

  Position Title: Business Analyst
 
  Employment Status: Full-time, Contractual (2 Year)
   
  Objectives of the Role:
 
  • Optimize operational efficiency by quickly and accurately adding to and maintaining the quality of large amounts of data in our proprietary database
  • Recommend data management solutions according to business requirements
  • Ensure usability of software and manage malfunctions reported by the users and communicate with the software developers to resolve the issue.
  • Handle queries for data from upper management and employees
  • Oversee and achieve organizational goals while upholding best practices
  • Drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data
  Job responsibilities:
  • Gather and input data into databases, and verify the accuracy of valuable company Information
  • Review data for errors or redundancies, make corrections and check outputs
  • Partner with other stakeholder teams across business units (i.e., sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties
  • Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation
  • Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
  Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics/Business Management/ Computer Science
  Experience Requirements:
  • 1+ years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity.
  Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including ZOHO, ClickUp, and Oracle.
  • High proficiency with SQL language and database management
  • Proven development of innovative and impactful systems solutions
  • Extensive experience with data visualization
  • Highly proficient technical writing capabilities
  • Proven analytical abilities
  • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy.
  Salary: Negotiable
 
  Office Hour: Sunday-Thursday (10.00 am-6.00 pm)
