Public Relations Manager
Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), one of the leading private universities in the country, is looking for a dynamic and motivated young professional for the position of "Public Relations Manager" for its Media and Public Relations unit.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a brand communication strategy for IUB;
- Developing and implementing a social media outreach strategy for IUB;
- Planning events/activations to engage stakeholders and promote brand outreach;
- Managing IUB's social media channels to maximize engagement;
- Developing content (case stories, features, news updates, static posts, video scripts, etc.) for the IUB website and social media channels;
- Writing content for publications including newsletters, year books, and annual reports;
- Developing and Maintaining an editorial calendar;
- Coordinating student content writers for IUB’s web and social media presence.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or a relevant field. Educational requirements may be relaxed for deserving candidates.
- At least five years' experience in brand communication, developing digital and audiovisual content, and managing social media outreach.
- Experience of working in Media and Public Relations; Advertising; and Digital agencies will be an advantage.
- Excellent writing, speaking and comprehension skills in English.
