Background:

Ipas works globally since 1973 with a mission to improve women and girls sexual and reproductive health and rights through enhanced access to and use of abortion and contraceptive care. In Bangladesh we are working with close collaboration of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and its directorates since 2011 to improve availability, access to and utilization of high quality SRHR services particularly MR, PAC and FP services throughout the country and in humanitarian settings.

Ipas Bangladesh is inviting the interested Potential Vendors/Firms/Company to submit quotation for “Supply of Vehicle for Ipas Bangladesh” as per attached Specification.

Quotation submission time: Quotation to be submitted on or before 27 September 2021 by 17:00 Hours through email to: ipasbangladesh@ipas.org . Please put email subject line “Supply of Vehicle for Ipas Bangladesh”. Quotation submitted through any other channel or by hand will not be acceptable.

Opening of Quotation: There will be no public opening. Ipas Bangladesh reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Terms and Conditions:

Quotation submission date: The quote shall be submitted Within 27 September 2021 up to 17:00 hours

Quotations submitted after the deadline will not be considered; any queries please send email to farzanan@ipas.org

Please submit the technical and financial proposal separately.

Bid validity: Bid validity have to be mentioned (at least 90 days).

Quotation must include the following:

1. Copy of valid Company Trade license, TIN, VAT Registration
2. Detail descriptions and specifications of the quoted items must be specified.
3. Any additional information regarding delivery cost, method, date etc.
4. Detail information on any warranties offered by the vendor.
5. Quotation is must be in BDT inclusive of tax, excise and other duties or taxes;
6. During contact period vendor could not increase the price.
7. Statement that vendor will adhere to Ipas Bangladesh terms and conditions

Evaluation Criteria:

1. Offers will be evaluated based on responsiveness to the specification, qualifications and experience of the vendor, price, after sale service, delivery time and any other additional attributes.
2. Ipas Bangladesh may inspect the physical condition of the vehicles if needed and then select.

Expected date and place of delivery:

The vehicle  should be delivered within 15 days after getting the Work order at House # 438, Road # 30, New DOHS Mohakhali, Dhaka-1206 Bangladesh by vendor's own cost. Delivery date may be negotiated if situation demands.

VAT & Tax will be deducted at source as per GOB rules.

Payment Terms: Ipas Standard Payment Terms are 7 working days from receipt of goods or service and a Ipas approved invoice by A/C payee cheque/ Wire transfer.

Ipas Bangladesh reserves the right to accept or reject partially or fully any or all quotations without assigning any reason whatsoever. Ipas Bangladesh may not select the lowest bidder, if the quality, specifications etc. are not up to the mark and not bound to provide any explanation about the selection process.

Issuance of this RFQ does not constitute an award commitment on the part of the Ipas, nor does it commit Ipas to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of a bid.
