AUCTION FOR USED OFFICE EQUIPMENT

Auction Notice: No. Ipas-BD/01/2025

Background:

Ipas is a US based NGO, works globally since 1973 to advance reproductive justice. In Bangladesh, Ipas has been working in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and its directorates since 2011 to improve availability of and access to high quality SRHR services in the country including humanitarian settings in Cox’s Bazar.

Ipas Bangladesh is organizing an auction to sell off old furniture and IT equipment as per attached list. These items will be sold on an as-is, where-is basis.

The auction will be held at our office, located at:

House 428A, Road 30, New DOHS, Mohakhali, Dhaka 1206

and

At Level 06 of SK Tower, Khurushkul, Notun Rasta, Tarabaniar Chhara, Cox’s Bazar Sadar, Cox’s Bazar-4700

The items will be available to view to the interested bidders on 10-11 December from 10 am to 4 pm before the auction at the above locations in Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar respectively.

Bidders are requested to submit their offer for Lot 1 to 3 using the bid slip. Ipas Bangladesh auction committee will review the bids.

Following the auction, the winner will be contacted within seven (7) working days from the date of the bid submission deadline.

Payment: Following the award notification issued by Ipas Bangladesh, the winning bidder/s will be required to deposit/transfer the offered amount of the respective LOT to the Ipas Bangladesh bank account within three (3) working days. The bank account details will be shared with wining bidder/bidders by Ipas Bangladesh.

If the winning bidder fails to pay the total amount within three (3) working days, consequently, the second highest responsive bidder will be awarded.

The winning bidder will be requested to collect the goods within three (3) working days, from the date Ipas Bangladesh confirms receiving the payment. In this regard, Ipas Bangladesh will issue a Gate Pass to the winning bidder to collect the goods.

In case of any confusion/ambiguity and/or conditions not described in the “Instruction of Auction,” the decision of the Ipas Bangladesh auction committee will be final.

Ipas Bangladesh auction committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or the full process of the auction notice without assigning any reason whatsoever.
