Job Description

Execution of Different Project Activities

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop project plans, timelines, and objectives.
• Prepare budgets, reports, and ensure timely submissions of the deliverables as per client’s requirements.
• Manage and conduct research studies as applicable.
• Conduct field visits as per project requirement.
• Identify and allocate necessary resources such as personnel, equipment, and materials for project execution.
• Coordinate with different teams or departments to ensure the availability of required resources.
• Optimize resource utilization to maximize project efficiency
• Oversee the implementation of projects according to established plans and schedules.
• Allocate, manage and monitor efficient usage of resources according to project requirements for successful accomplishment.
• Coordinate and communicate with team members, contractors, and vendors involved in project execution.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure timely delivery and reporting as per the standards and in the format required.
• Assist in managing all timelines and deliverables for multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Maintain extremely high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, strong organization skills, and absolute commitment to task completion.

Business Development Activities

• Proactively seek partnership opportunities with local and international organizations as guided by the management.
• Engage in proposal submissions and expression of interests (task will include developing methodology, work plan, budget etc.) in coordination with team members, external consultants and technical experts.

Additional Duties

• Maintain extremely high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, strong organization skills, and absolute commitment to task completion.
• Ensure balancing multiple tasks and shifting priorities under tight deadlines at an accelerated pace when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

• Post-Graduation/Graduation in Economics/ Development Studies/ Anthropology/ Social Science/ Business Studies or other related fields from any reputed national or international university.

Key Qualifications/ Experience:

• 3-4 years’ full-time professional experience in project management and research and analysis is required.
• Have adequate experience in maintaining liaison with different stakeholders.
• Experience of organizing and facilitating meetings, events and workshops independently.
• Comfortable with data gathering, data mining, data validation, and analysis.
• The candidate should be self-motivated, confident, proactive and detail oriented.
• The candidate should have ability to work under pressure, have continuous learning mind set and strong analytical ability.
• Adept in formative and professional writing in English.
• Experience working in waste management projects will be considered as an advantage.
• Network with the development professionals/organizations in Bangladesh and globally will add value.
