Position: Team Leader

Educational Qualification and Experience Requirements:

  • PhD in Civil Engineering discipline. (Must) *
  • Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. (Must) *
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. (Must) *
  • Minimum 25 Years of Total experience including at least 20 Years in design/construction of bridges/hydraulic structures like jetty/terminal building structure.*
  • Minimum 5 Years of international experience in Building/Hydraulic structures.*
  • Certificates and project experience letter/certificates must be present.*

Job Description:

  • Leading the Project Team as Team Leader and management of all the assignment of the project as per requirement.
  • Collaborating closely with clients, engineers, designers, and contractors to define project scopes, objectives, and technical requirements.
  • Maintaining liaisons with all the stakeholder.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments to understand hydraulic conditions, sediment transport, navigational requirements, and potential environmental impacts.
  • Develop comprehensive construction plans, methodologies, and sequencing strategies that consider tidal variations, wave forces, and sediment management.
  • Responsible for delegating tasks to the team members, professionals and support staff and oversee that their performance and deliveries are of a high and acceptable standard.
  • Review and approve detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with project goals and industry standards.
  • Oversee the execution of marine construction projects, including management and supervision of the project.
  • Monitor and manage project progress, budgets, schedules, and quality assurance to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Address unexpected challenges during construction, applying creative problem-solving to maintain project momentum.
  • Collaborate with environmental specialists to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and implement measures for minimizing ecological impacts.
  • Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and community members to provide project updates and address concerns.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to marine construction.
  • Ensuring the proper coordination is maintained within the team, with the local officials and leaders, and with the Client. S/he shall mange for resolving any issue that may crop up during the planning and execution stages and brings such issues to the notice of the Client that requires intervention of the later
  • Prepare of final report all drawing and design as needed under the contract.
  • The Team Leader will be responsible for timely submission of the reports and other deliverables.
