Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, manage program requirements for managing and directing the operations and maintenance programs for the Power Plant, factory emergency power, and associated systems.
  
• Responsible for the overall supervision, development, and management of assigned staff.
  
• Shut down and restart power plant or equipments in emergency situations or for equipment maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
  
• Review logs, datasheets, or reports to ensure adequate production levels and safe production environments or to identify abnormalities with power production equipment or processes.
  
• Supervise plant or substation operations, maintenance, repair, or testing activities.
  
• Monitor the operating status of plant by observing control system parameters, distributed control systems, switchboard gauges, dials, or other indicators.
  
• Test, maintain, or repair electrical power distribution machinery or equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices.
  
• Troubleshooting, Operation and Maintenance of Power Plant

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc in Electrical/Mechanical from any recognized university/ institution.

Experience Requirements

• 10 years of direct experience in power plant operations and maintenance.

Additional Requirements

• Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
  
• Familiar with operations in a fast moving 24/7 production environment
