Job Description / Responsibility

  • Active involvement in the entire software lifecycle, from requirements analysis to
  • deployment in the Scrum team.
  • Design and development of high-performance and scalable – mainly microservice-based – software architectures in the Java environment.
  • Interface development and connection of the software to different database systems.
  • Depending on your knowledge and preferences, you can deepen your knowledge in the areas of deployment, performance tuning, migration, security, or solution architecture and take on more tasks in these areas in the future.
  • Regular customer exchange in the context of the Daily Scrum Meetings.
  • Mentor for junior developers.
  • Snippet of our technology stack: Java, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, React.js, Nuxt.js, Oracle, Postgres, Kubernetes, Git, GitLab-CI, etc.

  • Team player who has an innovative and solution-oriented way of working and sees clean code, unit testing, and pair programming as a matter of course.

Salary

  • Negotiable.
  • We pay standard salaries and adhere to local collective agreement for a starting base salary. If you have additional qualifications and professional experience, we will offer you a correspondingly higher salary.

Eligibility to apply

  • Back-end Java developer for ongoing development, customization & modernization of BSS system for existing and new customers
  • Appropriate professional qualifications (bachelor degree minimum)
  • Relevant working experience (3 years minimum)
  • Interest in relevant technologies
  • Good comprehension and understanding of business processes
  • Willingness to learn: the system is already very complex, customers' business is always changing
  • Reliable, accurate and independent way of working and you keep calm even in hectic times
  • Teamwork: we work in teams of 5-6 people
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills (More than Business English skills)
  • Approach: hierarchy less, highly interactive & communicative working in agile (scrum) teams
