Senior Officer/Assistant Manager - IT

Job Context
We want someone to support the overall IT structure of the organization and support all staff in maintaining IT services to enable BIGD’s work. to be creative and agile.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitoring daily IT operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Coordinating technology (hardware and software) installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Develop, maintain, update, and facilitate IT orientation of new staff. Provide day-to-day support to all staff in all IT-related matters to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the organization.
  • Selection and purchase of new and replacement hardware and software as per necessity.
  • Ensure the best value of money in all IT-related expenditures of the organization.
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively.
  • Generating performance reports for operating systems.
  • Assuring all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
  • Structured network cabling, maintenance, and troubleshooting power backup system.
  • Planning and auditing Internet bandwidth and IP addresses for the whole network and hosted devices.
  • Any job assigned by the management.

Educational Requirements

  • Graduation/Post Graduation in CSE / CS / ICE or another related field.
  • Skills Required: knowledge in ERP, Networking and Security Access control, Server Management

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 years (s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): AWS Cloud, Database Administrator (DBA), Linux, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Database

Additional Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including server, office, and exchange.
  • Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
  • Highly organized, driven, passionate, and detail-oriented.

Job Location: Dhaka
