Associate Officer-HR
iDE is an international NGO with over 40 years of experience in designing and delivering market-based anti-poverty programs in 11 countries. We are a world leader in making markets work for the poor as well as the longest-established market development specialist NGO in Bangladesh. iDE believes that markets can be a powerful force for improving smallholder prosperity by creating income and livelihood opportunities for poor rural households. iDE Bangladesh currently has eight projects in Agricultural Markets, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Access to Finance with a focus on women’s economic empowerment and climate-smart technologies.
iDE Bangladesh is seeking a dynamic Associate Officer-HR to join our Human Resources team. This role will support personnel file management, leave and timesheet tracking, insurance claims, payroll, and logistical arrangements for HR events.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Associate Officer-HR will include but are not limited to the descriptions below-
Key Responsibilities |
Timesheet Management:
- Send monthly allocation emails to shared staff.
- Track, collect, and ensure accurate documentation of timesheets.
- Provide support to staff for preparing accurate and error-free timesheets.
Leave Management:
- Track and maintain staff leave data.
- Prepare regular leave reports.
Insurance Claim Management:
- Track staff insurance claim for HR records.
- Process claim submissions to insurance companies weekly.
- Assist in preparing reports related to insurance inclusion and exclusion.
Personnel File and Staff Data Management:
- Open and maintain personnel files, ensuring confidentiality.
- Update and maintain the master database.

Payroll support:
- Assist in providing monthly payroll information to the finance team.
- Support payment processes for interns, vendors, and consultants.
- Ensure timely disbursement of monthly pay slips.
Logistical Support:
- Provide logistical support for organizing HR events.
- Provide support in coordinating HR related purchase.

Other Responsibilities |
- Prepare experience certificates, NOCs, and resignation acceptances as needed.
- Support the HR team during audits.
- Assist in recruitment & selection as required.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the line supervisor.

Skills and Experience:
A successful Associate Officer-HR will have the following skills and experience and will be comfortable with the following conditions.
Education |
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources/ Public Administration/ Management/ Business Administration/ other relevant field; Master’s will get preference.

Work Experience |
- A minimum of two (02) years of progressively responsible professional experience in human resource management in an international organization and/or large corporation; experience of working in development sector will be a plus.
- Demonstrated experience of managing HR administrative things like personnel file management, leave management, time sheet management etc.
- Proven experience of staff data entry and managing staff master database
- Proficiency in managing large volume staff data in excel
- Hands on experience of coordinating with various units to get the job done
- Working knowledge of HR Information System is desirable

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla;
- Demonstrated ability to convey messages through clear and concise way;
- Ability to strategies innovative approaches to address any HR issues;
- Flexibility to adapt to different work conditions and
- Proficiency in MS Word, power point, excel as well as G suite is must
- Excellent interpersonal communication skill and willingness to work for extended period
