Position Profile:


The Finance and Administration Department play an important role in every organisation.  It provides support to program department in implementing the program effectively.  In consultation with Director (F&A), Finance and Administration officer will ensure timely procurement of logistics, supply these to fields, HR Related activities, maintaining project accounts and day to day office administration.

Principal Responsibilities:


1. General Administration:

  • Arrange local and international travel logistic support including tickets purchase, hotel accommodation, transport, visa related work for local staff and expatriates visitors.
  • Ensure repair & maintenance of office equipment, vehicles, furniture & fixture and office premises.
  • Ensure customs formalities /clearance of personal effects all expatriate personnel/foreign guests.
  • Ensure timely procurement of all logistics following procedures and policy and sending these to the field offices as per field offices requirement.  Also ensure proper stock/store systems are followed.
  • Also update and maintained fixed assets register.
  • Prepare deed of agreement and renew the existing agreement as and when requited for office rent, and office security and repair and maintenance of office premises.

2. Human Resources

  • Assist timely recruitment of staff; orientation and training arrangement for newly hired staff.
  • Maintain employees’ retirement fund, health fund, life insurance policy, safety and welfare of all employees. 
  • Maintain personal file and records of all employees.
  • Other HR related work such as employees’ confirmation, promotion, transfer, reassignment leave record etc. organisation policy.

3. Accounts and Finance 

  • Assist Director (F&A) in financial matter particularly in preparation of budget, financial reports as per organisation requirement.
  • Prepare various financial statements as per donor, government and management requirement.
  • Maintain projects accounts assigned by management and related reports.
  • Scrutinize bills, vouchers in accordance with financial policy of the organisation as well as law of the land and recommend for payment.
  • Ensure that Income Tax and VAT is deducted from bills as per government rules before making payments of bills.

Qualifications, experiences and expertise


  • Masters Degree in Accounting from reputed university.  CA   intermediate/ course completed will be given preference
  • Minimum 5 years works  experiences in  related field in an International/ National NGOs
  • Sound knowledge on VAT & INCOME TAX and deduction at source
  • Practical  knowledge and skills in computer  accounting software specially Quick book online plus
  • Vast Knowledge in IAS, IFRS, Foreign Donation Act
  • Practical experience in preparing FD-2, FD-3, FD-6, Fd-7 etc.
  • Demonstrate an ability to remain calm, and composed during time of stress and inspiring the same in the team
  • Sound knowledge on Human Resource management and Policy, Labor law

Additional requirement

  • Age 30-35 years
  • Computer literacy is mandatory, Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point etc.
  • Pro-active, self-starter and result oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Bangla and English
  • Professional,  Honest, Dedicated, Energetic, Smart, Team builder, Polite in manner with positive personality
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
