Business Development Manager (Digital Power)

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute high-level strategies for the Digital Power business (solar, energy storage, data center energy, and smart energy solutions), ensuring alignment with both local market needs and global objectives.
  • Take full ownership of business growth, including market target achievement, customer engagement, operational excellence, and delivery of business objectives.
  • Build, strengthen, and sustain C-level and key stakeholder relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and trust.
  • Lead, monitor, and secure success in critical sales projects, driving both short-term wins and long-term business sustainability.
  • Spearhead product promotion, solution adoption, and technical engagement activities, positioning Huawei as a trusted Digital Power leader in Bangladesh.
  • Identify and cultivate new customer groups, solution opportunities, and ecosystem partners, contributing to the expansion of Huawei’s Digital Power footprint.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, creating a collaborative, accountable, and execution-driven culture.
  • Actively contribute to cross-functional collaboration, working closely with technical, service, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
  • Champion innovation and sustainable energy development, enabling Huawei’s leadership role in the local Digital Power industry.

Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (majors such as EEE, CSE, ECE, ETE preferred).
  • Master’s degree in Business or Engineering is highly desirable.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 7–10 years of relevant experience in Power, Energy, ICT, or Enterprise Solution markets, with at least 5 years in business development or strategic leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and successfully managing large-scale or complex projects.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong expertise in one or more domains: solar PV, energy storage systems, smart energy solutions, data center energy, grid stability solutions, or power electronics.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and market planning capabilities, with strong business acumen and opportunity insight.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-functional team player and team lead.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to influence and inspire internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong resilience, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for innovation, sustainability, and making a positive impact in the energy transition.
