Executive Director
Hope for the Poorest (HP) is a national NGO, has been working since 2004 for improving life and livelihood of poor and marginalized people. Currently HP is working in collaboration with ASA in more than 30 districts in Bangladesh. The organisation works on WASH, Menstrual Health Hygiene and Women empowerment through an entrepreneurial approach. The Executive Director is the key management leader of the organisation. Within the purview of vision, mission and values of HP, the Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, finance and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, networking at national and international levels, donor communications, heightening the reputation and visibility of the organization, etc. The Executive Director will also play a crucial role in motivating the staff members for better performance. Executive Director shall be held responsible for his duties, actions and responsibilities to the governing board of HP.

Experience:
- At least 10 years' experience in Senior Management position in national or international organization, WASH is more preferable.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Ability to negotiate with institutional donors and government representatives.
- Competent in computer literacy (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc.).
Job Description / Responsibility
- Develop the organisation growth strategy and ensure its implementation
- Lead role to implement of current activities / programs
- Provide continuous effort for team building as per the strategic policy and plan of HP.
- Develop fund raising strategic materials for organizational growth.
- Develop risk analysis framework for smooth program implementation.
- Represent the organization in different national and international forums.
- Ensure that the operation of the organization meets all the compliance of the government and resource-sharing partners.
- Develop planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation guidelines of the organization's programs / projects and quality services delivered.
- Hiring new employees and managing them properly.
- Explore external funding opportunities, participate in fund raising activities as appropriate and oversee the development of fund raising plans.
- Facilitate and lead the budget development process in coordination with different program/project teams
- Establish and maintain good working relation, collaborative arrangements with community people, resource sharing partners, other organizations, etc.
- Maintain good relations with existing donors by ensuring HP is compliant with donor requirements.
- Organise governing board meetings and annual general meeting and prepare relevant documents
- Any assignment issued by the governing board
Additional Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communication skills in English and Bengali.
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in any discipline or Honors who is highly compatible
