The ENABLE project aims to strengthen CSO and their networks, support community led environment and climate initiatives, and enhance policy dialogue at local levels. As part of its field implementation structure, the project deploys Young Professionals (YPs) who act as frontline support to CSO and their networks in grant scheme planning, monitoring and budgetary implementation. The YP will support day to day field operations, administration and logistical arrangement of the project. This position strengthens information flow; financial and administrative record keeping and ensures continuous communication between CSOs and the project team.

The key responsibilities for this role may include the following but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Accounting
- Carryout daily financial transactions, record keeping and ensuring compliance with organizational and donor standards
- Maintain accurate accounting records (cashbook, bank book, journals, ledgers.
- Process vendor payments and maintain regular bank reconciliations
- Support F&AO for preparing timely and accurate financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure all vouchers, receipts, supporting documents, and approvals are properly filed and audit ready.
- Support F&AO to ensure compliance with tax, VAT, NGOAB, donor, and audit requirements.
Administration, Procurement & Logistic
- Support procurement processes including quotes, documentation, vendor coordination, and payment processing as per organizational policy and donor standards.
- Provide logistics support for training, workshops, travel arrangements, and accommodation.
- Maintain stock registers for office supplies and update project asset registers with ID numbers
- Maintain inventory and asset registers in collaboration with the CO admin team under the guidance of F&AO.
- Ensure safety, security of the local offices and ensure compliance with admin policies.
Support project coordination and capacity building initiatives
- Support the capacity development initiatives of partners (CSO and their networks) on organizational independence.
- Support the facilitation and implementation of grant scheme for CSOs and their networks
- Support and facilitate audit for the project and also for the CSOs and their networks.
- Participate in project meetings, document decisions, and follow up on action points.
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Field Logistics, Communication & Support
- Coordinate field logistics (venue preparation, materials, travel arrangements).
- Support communication between field-level stakeholders, the project team and CSOs.
- Assist Finance & Admin Officer and Project Team with basic administrative/financial tasks when required (i.e. asset and material register, liaise with local authority for meeting NGOAB compliance)
- Coordinate with CO units including Procurement, HR, Admin, and IT to facilitate field-level operations smoothly under the guidance of F&AO.
Expected Deliverables
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in monthly financial and administrative tasks.
- Accurate and timely submissions of vouchers, supporting documents and reports.
- Well maintained field record of activities, minutes, and attendance sheets.
- Support the timely implementation of CSO-led events as per monthly plan under grant scheme and support CSOs for ensuring financial documentation.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work independently under pressure.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related field.
Experience:
- 1 years’ experience in NGO finance & administration roles is desirable. Fresh graduates are also highly encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with accounting software will be an added asset.

We offer you
A 12-month internship contract (extendable based on funding availability and performance) with a monthly consolidated salary in the range of BDT 30,000 – BDT 34,000 CTC (may vary based on experience and current remuneration), along with other admissible benefits. Other benefits include travel allowance, HELVETAS public holidays, 2 days of the weekend, paid annual leave of 25 days and 15 days of sick leave.
