Request for Proposal: Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, on behalf of the CALL Programme (Climate Action at Local Level), invites proposals from qualified consultants (individuals or firms) to conduct Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Analysis and provide support to the CALL Consortium in integrating GESI actions into projects. The selected consultant will carry out a comprehensive and participatory GESI analysis across twelve projects under the CALL Programme. This will involve assessing current level of GESI integration at both project and institutional levels and facilitating the development of GESI Action Plans and Theory of Change (ToC). CALL is a consortium initiative of nine Swiss NGOs in Bangladesh, supported by Switzerland. It is led by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation and co-led by Swisscontact. It envisions that local climate actions, led by communities and local actors facilitated by Swiss NGOs and local partners contributing to a climate-smart and disaster-resilient Bangladesh as a model of local climate action for broader uptake by supporting communities in developing context-specific actions to adapt and mitigate climate change impact via an inclusive and cross-cutting Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA).
