As per January 2020 or upon agreement we are looking for suitable personnel that will be responsible for the implementation of the Strengthening and Informative Migration Systems (SIMS) Project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), which aims to improve the wellbeing of labour migrants through safer migration and better migration governance. The recruitment for this 4-years project (with option of a 2nd phase) is subject to the acceptance of the HELVETAS offer by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation is inviting applications for the following positions: Financial Education and Microfinance Expert She/he will be responsible for the capacity building support to public and private sector agencies in delivering household level basic financial education, incl. basic financial planning, debt management, budgeting and expenditure management, savings, as well as the facilitation of business development opportunities. She/he will have a Master’s Degree in Economic or Social Sciences and/or Development Studies and at least 5 years of experience in the labour migration sector and expertise in financial education and financial literacy, micro-finance, entrepreneurship development.
