Shelaidah Dairy is a sister concern of Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd. established in 1997 in Kumarkhali, Khustia. It is one of the fastest growing dairy firms in Bangladesh manufacturing branded dairy food products for local markets. The firm started with only one product named ULTRA Fresh Milk. Now it has a number of products like-Fresh Milk, Flavoured Milk, Sweetened Yogurt, Sour Yogurt, Matha, Rasamalai, Ghee and also has many other products in the pipeline. Presently we distribute our products in Dhaka Metro. We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated individual for the following position in Shelaidah Dairy

Manager, Factory Operations
Job responsibilities:
  • Manage production, maintenance and quality related operations.
  • Ensure quality planning, quality management, and quality assurance activities.
  • Coordinate plant activities with the supervisor to ensure total manufacturing objectives.
  • Develop and control operational plan and budget.
  • Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
  • Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustment to plant facilities' and equipments when necessary.
  • Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
  • Lead plant production and maintenance personnel in day to day activities to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of equipment and facilities.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronic Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Food Technology.
Experience Requirements:
  • 10- 15 years proven experience in Factory Operations
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Dairy/ Food/ FMCG)
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills and mentoring ability.
  • Strong command over English and Bangla & Computer Proficiency.
  • Strong team building and leadership skills.
  • Have ability to work for extended hours.
