Job Context: We are seeking dedicated volunteer Legal Assistants who are eager to gain practical experience by working with a team of experienced barristers and lawyers. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful work, helping the poor and needy, in exchange for a certificate and invaluable learning experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work independently and professionally.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Assist with vetting and drafting various contracts and other legal documents.
- Provide legal opinions on various issues.
- Handle and manage case-related work.
- Conduct research in different sectors of law.
- Assist in preparing legal drafts and documents.
- Prepare Deed Agreements, Reminder Letters, Legal Letters, etc.
- Participate in case management and updates.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor of Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- No prior experience required, but some exposure to legal work or internships is
beneficial.
Additional Requirements:
- Age: At least 22 years.
- Open to both males and females.
- Basic knowledge of court procedures and legal systems.
- Proficient in computer use.
- Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Strong research skills, both offline and online.
- Positive work attitude, integrity, and good interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work under pressure.
