Gram Unnayan Karma (GUK) is one of the leading non-government social development organization in Bangladesh. GUK administration department is responsible for office administration, event management, office security, procurement and delivery of office supplies, contract management, utility services, construction & decoration of office space etc.

Coordinator – Administration & General Services

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow up and monitor employees’ attendance, leave and other employment rules and advise the director of administration for disciplinary actions if needed.
  • Prepare monthly plan and budget of office supplies and ensure timely delivery of them.
  • Prepare and renew contract agreement for leasing office space and other infrastructure.
  • Deploy and follow up with vendors for new construction and decoration of buildings & office space
  • Prepare contract and ensure availability of utility services like electricity, telephone, water supply etc.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of office equipment like air conditioning, lighting, lift, generator, water supply etc.
  • Ensure the proper decoration and cleanliness of the office space
  • Organize and manage different events as required by executive and other departments
  • Ensure security of the head office and implement a security policy throughout the organization.
  • Manage the fleet, ensure maintenance of the vehicles and transportation availability according to organizational policy.
  • Act as the point of contact from administration department for providing admin and other general services to other departments.

Education: Master’s in any discipline from reputed university. Candidates having MBA will get preference.

Age: 32 – 45 Years

Skills and experiences

  • 8 – 10 years’ experience in admin and general services.
  • Good knowledge of employment regulations.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing departments and teams.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skill.
  • Proactive, forward looking, hard working and good problem-solving skills
  • The ability to develop and nurture relationships across departments.
  • Very good knowledge and understanding of regulations, professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • The ability to use email and office software packages competently.

Job Location: Bogura

Salary: Taka 45,000 – 60,000 per month. Salary is negotiable for highly qualified candidates.
