Grameen Shakti promotes and disseminates Renewable Energy Technologies in Bangladesh to generate income and to reduce poverty of the rural people with focus on climate change, environmental conservation, gender equality, with an overall objective of enhancing social bottom line. In Bangladesh there are about 6 million solar home system (SHS) has been installed till the IDCOL’s Rural Electrification Program was active up to 2018. Since then the Government has strengthen on Grid Electricity expansion and the SHS program has become static. However, the users of SHS especially in the rural areas still need new solar system and solar modules due to the unreliable supply of grid electricity. On the other hand, the Rooftop solar market is growing very fast and it creates demand for large size solar modules in our local market. Apart from this for new electricity connection in any new building it is mandatory to have minimum 10% electricity to be produced form the installed solar system as per the Government policy. So, there is an on-going and expanding market of solar modules which also includes sales opportunity in the vast rural retail markets. This market size of solar modules in Bangladesh is estimated to be 550MW in 2024. This market size is growing every year. Grameen Shakti with its own brand name is selling small and large solar modules in Bangladesh and willing to grasp more market share gradually.

Job Responsibilities:
- Meeting the sales targets (solar modules ) and sales goals efficiently
- Report Daily Sales target Vs achievement
- Overseeing local sales and promotions
- Provide feedback and market information to the management from time to time through frequent market visit.
- Forecast market demand and achieve sales target
- Ensure sustainable growth of own market share
- Ensure product availability.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Developing and implementing effective communication strategies with partners
- Build new partnerships with potential stakeholders
- Finding new business opportunities in the solar market.
- Acquire product knowledge on own products as well as competitor’s products, price & feature, marketing strategies, distribution policy, and promotional strategy.
- Build a strong relationship with the existing & new Dealers and keep in touch with the retailers
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Prepare and submit monthly/annual departmental progress reports ensuring both quantitative and qualitative aspects of the ongoing sales
- Perform all additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by the organization

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Trading or Export/Import,Direct Selling/Marketing Service Company, Battery, Storage cell, Power
Salary: Tk. 37000 - 40500 (Monthly)
