JOB TITLE : Manager HR & Admin
REPORTS TO : Head of the Department/General Manager
FUNCTION : HR & Admin
LOCATION : Grameen Shakti, Head Office
Age Limit : Not more than 45 years


PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Grameen Shakti promotes and disseminates Renewable Energy Technologies in Bangladesh to generate income and to reduce poverty of the rural people with focus on climate change, environmental conservation, gender equality, with an overall objective of enhancing social bottom line. The key purpose of this position is to work for HR planning, preparation of Role Definition, , sourcing & recruitment, retention and career planning, training & development , performance management, talent management and employee relations One other important aspect of this job, which is our of HRM scope is managing Board meeting.

The job of HR Manager is important to business success. People are our most important asset and HR Manager will be the one to ensure a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives.

A. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Participate and coordinate HR planning for efficient and optimum function of the organization
  • Prepare career planning in coordination with the concerned management
  • Manage recruitment life-cycle, from sourcing to onboarding
  • Prepare Role Definition with the input of the concerned department
  • Design job adverts, interview candidates, conduct assessment test and reference checks
  • Conduct orientation and induction program for the new entrants and ensure smooth onboarding; conduct Exit Interview when required. 7. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance 8. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs, develop a learning culture
  • Manage and participate in the process of employee relations, retention, advocating and counselling
  • Investigate disciplinary and grievance matters and provide employee counselling 11. Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation, disciplinary and termination processes and workplace investigations
  • Lead to run HR operations effectively and efficiently; prepare and maintain SOP
  • Ensure adherence to the labor law and statutory compliances and ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Prepare yearly HR budget
  • Maintain and update HR database
  • Interact with management and heads of the department for developing and implementing policies and procedures in line with the core organizational objectives
  • Prepare, circulate and preserve all kinds of memos, notes, letters, office circulars, notices etc.
    AND 18. Coordinate and Prepare Board Meeting working papers, minutes and prepare letters, memos for conducting Board Meeting and keeping all necessary records of the Company’s Board of Directors as well as attending any other associated pre-requisites.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Education, Knowledge, Skills, Age & Experience :

  1. Proven working experience as HR Manager
  2. Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  3. Ability to architect strategy, policy along with leadership skills, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making
  4. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  5. Knowledge of writing Board Meeting working papers, minutes, letter, memo
  6. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  7. Must have a personality of high level of integrity and trustworthiness
  8. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook
  9. Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  10. Excellent language skill in Bengali & English

Education : MBA in HRM from any recognized University or similar qualification

Experience Requirements: 5 to 8 year(s)

Age: 35 to 45 years

Employment Status and job location: Full-time, Dhaka, may require to visit outside of Dhaka occasionally
