Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian and development non-governmental organization with membership in General Consultative Status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). Good Neighbors Bangladesh, established in 1996, is operating 16 Community Development Projects (CDP) and 3 Projects with Specific Program (PSP) in 12 districts for child protection, education, health, women empowerment, income generating activities, DRR, and Rohingya Emergency Response Project. Winner of MDG 2 award in 2007. Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) intends to recruit suitable personnel for the following position.

Position: Officer (Micro Finance) for Good Neighbors Global Impact Foundation Bangladesh (GNGIFB)
Job Location: Dhaka (Require frequent field visit)

Basic Requirement:
Education: Post-graduation in Finance/Business/Accounting from any recognized University
Age: Maximum age 35 years (as on 23 November 2021)
Experience: Minimum 3 years or above relevant job experiences (experience with only evidence and relevance will count)

Contract Information:
Consolidated Remuneration: Negotiable.
Contract Period:  2 years (including minimum 6 months in probation period)

Job Assignment in Brief:

  • Involvement to the project planning, budgeting and implementation process of Microfinance program.
  • Loan management properly (development loan products, loan disburse, repayment etc.)
  • Conducting survey in desired areas and compile facts and figures in appropriate reports for ensuring final selection of working area.
  • Implementation microfinance program smoothly through the Branches, following organizational policies and practices.
  • Prepare and maintain requisition slips & bills and all types of voucher at HO level.
  • Checking requisition slips & bills, all types of voucher; like as received voucher, payment voucher and journal voucher. 
  • Preparing and keeping financial reports - daily, weekly, monthly & yearly (account books/registers/ledgers etc.) by maintaining Microfinance online based software
  • Conduct regular internal audits and consolidate accounting books.
  • Conduct training and workshop
  • Visitation, monitoring & supervision and analysis the finding status/risks and solve the problem properly.
  • Proper communication and network with Government, partners and all relevant stakeholders.

Capacity Requirement:

  • In-depth knowledge of computers and Microfinance online based software.
  • Proper knowledge to prepare financial projection and financial analysis based on software 
  • Maintain current knowledge of all applicable lending regulations, the economy, market rates, vendors, and competitors
  • Customer service-oriented with exceptional sales skills.
  • Effective communication skill and Good command over Bangla and English
