Good Neighbors (1991) is an international humanitarian, development and non-governmental organization with membership in General Consultative Status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). Winner of MDG 2 award 2007 and UNESCO-Hamdan Prize for Teacher Development 2024, Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) is operating 17 Community Development Projects (CDP) and 2 Projects with Specific Program (PSP) in 13 districts for child protection, education, health, women empowerment, income generating activities, DRR and Rohingya emergency response activities. 2. Basic Requirement:
Education: Master's Degree preferably in Social Science, Development Studies, Anthropology, Development Economics, Environmental Science & Disaster Management
Age: Minimum age 25 years and maximum age 35 years (as on 31th December 2025).
Experience: Minimum 1 year (experience with only evidence and relevance will also count).
Skill: Computer knowledge (MS office), Communication, Reporting, Stakeholder Engagement, Speaking & writing skill in English.
3. Contract Information:
Salary and Others: Consolidated Remuneration Tk. 22,000 (per month). Plus 100% yearly bonus (after probation period), 15 days paid leave (after probation period) excluding public holidays and training opportunities for career development.
Probation Period: 6 months (Job confirmation/ extension of probation period /Job discontinuation based on performance evaluation of the probation period)
4. Job Assignment in Brief:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Designing, Planning & Implementation: Designing and understanding the necessity of new projects and implement the community development projects according to the organizational goals/requirements.
- Sponsorship Management: Design, implement, manage, and supervise Organization programs for child case management, new intake, home visit, ACL, APR, gift money, and special support, with special care for CMS update, letter, gift money, and special case management.
- Education: Design and plan for teacher capacity development, ensure a 100% pass rate in public exams, and maintain a child-friendly environment in GN Bangladesh and partner schools.
- CRC: Implement CRC through meetings, training, workshops, campaigns, publications, and related programs, and maintain liaison with the local government for any kind of child-related assistance.
- Youth Development: Innovate new activities to activate youth participation, develop them through computer training, skill development training, and other official activities by CDP,
- Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local communities, understanding their needs and ensuring project alignment with those needs with community resource mobilization.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between community members, partners, and higher management, ensuring top-down and bottom-up communication flows.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks or challenges to the success of the CDP Program.
- Compliance & Evaluation: Ensure on legal and regulatory requirements and evaluate the project’s impact and success.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and transparency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage project program teams, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track project program progress, prepare regular reports, and present outcomes to CDP Manager and relevant department.
- Networking and partnership buildup: Maintaining efficient networking and partnership with community resource, local government and non-governmental organizations.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Staff Engagement: Effective staff management to keep members sufficiently involved and motivated
- Staff Capacity Development: Provide guidance and training to CDP community resources, enhancing team skills and knowledge.
- Resource Mobilization: Assist in identifying additional resources and funding opportunities to support project goals.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Ensure accurate documentation of project activities, decisions, and outcomes.
- Cross-functional communication: Work in collaboration with different sectors and sector heads as per project needs.
- Community Feedback Integration: Facilitate bottom-up feedback from communities into project strategies and improvements.
- Administrative Support: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to project operations.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work in any place in Bangladesh.
5. Capacity Requirement:
- Ability for budget prepare and financial management
- Should have good communication skill
- Must be good in using internet, MS office package and relevant software operating
- Should have knowledge of liaison with different stakeholders
