Good Neighbors (1991) is an international humanitarian, development and non-governmental organization with membership in General Consultative Status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). Winner of MDG 2 award 2007 and UNESCO-Hamdan Prize for Teacher Development 2024, Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) is operating 17 Community Development Projects (CDP) and 2 Projects with Specific Program (PSP) in 13 districts for child protection, education, health, women empowerment, income generating activities, DRR and Rohingya emergency response activities. Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) intends to recruit suitable personnel for the following positions:

2. Basic Requirement:

Education: Master’s degree (preferred) in Development Studies, International Relations, Business, or a related field

Age: Minimum age 30 years and maximum age 45 years (as on 30 April 2025)

Experience: Minimum 03 years’ work experience in similar sector (experience with only evidence and relevance will count).

3. Contract Information:

Salary and Others: Consolidated Remuneration Tk 60,000 (per month). Plus 100% festival bonus, 15 days paid leave excluding public holidays and training opportunities for career development.

Contract Period: 1 years (including minimum 3 months’ probation period), Renewable consideration on performance

Details
CSR Fundraising and Proposal Development
  • Identify CSR opportunities with Korean companies operating in Bangladesh.
  • Develop high-quality, customized funding proposals in English and/or Korean with clear impact goals, budgets, and implementation plans.
  • Maintain a strong track record of successful proposal submissions and follow-ups with donors.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align proposals with organizational priorities and donor interests.
Korean Community Engagement
  • Design and implement initiatives to engage Korean residents in Bangladesh for one-time and recurring donations.
  • Build strong relationships with Korean individuals, families, and groups to increase awareness and support for Good Neighbors programs.
  • Organize community events, donation drives, and networking sessions in collaboration with Korean associations.
Korean Language Communication
  • Serve as the key liaison for all Korean-language communications, both written and spoken.
  • Translate key documents, proposals, and promotional materials between Korean and English/Bengali as needed.
  • Assist in interpreting during meetings with Korean donors, partners, and delegations.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
  • Represent Good Neighbors Bangladesh in meetings and events involving Korean stakeholders.
  • Support communication and coordination between the organization and the Korean Embassy, business community, and cultural networks.
  • Maintain an updated database of Korean contacts, donors, and potential partners in Bangladesh
Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare timely reports, donor updates, and success stories in Korean and English.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all fundraising, engagement, and partnership activities.

5. Capacity Requirement:

  • Bangladeshi national with fluency in Korean (both written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in proposal writing, especially for CSR or international donors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially cross-cultural communication.
  • Previous experience with NGOs or donor-funded projects is a strong advantage.
  • Master’s degree (preferred) in Development Studies, International Relations, Business, or related field.
