Good Neighbors (1991) is an international humanitarian, development and non-governmental organization with membership in General Consultative Status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). Winner of MDG 2 award 2007 and UNESCO-Hamdan Prize for Teacher Development 2024, Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) is operating 17 Community Development Projects (CDP) and 5 Projects with Specific Program (PSP) in 13 districts for child protection, education, health, women empowerment, income generating activities, DRR and Rohingya emergency response activities. Good Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) intends to recruit suitable personnel for the following positions:

2. Basic Requirement:
Education: M. Com/ MBA in Accounting/Finance from any recognized University. If Individual have any extra professional degree on Accounting/Finance shall get preference

Age: Minimum age 30 years and maximum age 35 years (as on 31st December 2024).

Experience: Minimum 2 years or above relevant job experiences (experience with only evidence and relevance will count).

Skill: Computer knowledge (MS office), Speaking & writing skill in English  

3. Contract Information:
Salary and Others: Consolidated Remuneration Tk.21,100 (per month). Plus 100% festival bonus, 15 days paid leave excluding public holidays and training opportunities for career development.

Contract Period: 2 year (including minimum 6 months’ probation period), extendable depending on performance evaluation.

4. Job Assignment in Brief:

  • Planning, budgeting and expenses analysis of financial activities of the community development project (CDP)
  • Generating financial reports for various purpose
  • Managing assets, procurements of the organization according to the GNB policy, providing support of logistics, organizing different Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with relevant parties according to the need.
  • Managing CDP based salary and benefit packages of staffs, recruitment, attendance, leave, and other HR-related issues
  • Supporting audit related with finance, asset management and human resource management issues.

5. Requirement:

  • Ability for financial report analysis, identifying financial irregularities and investigation
  • Should have good communication skill
  • Must be good in using internet, MS office package and relevant software operating
  • Should have knowledge of liaison with different stakeholders
