2. Basic Requirement:
Education: Minimum graduation on Psychology/Social Science/Social work.
Age: Maximum age 40 years (as on 15 January 2023)
Experience: Minimum 2 years (experience with only evidence and relevance will count). Sound knowledge in Micro-soft office and English language (Speaking & writing).
Preference: GN Bangladesh strongly encourages qualified female candidates to apply.
3. Contract Information:
Salary and Others: Salary Package for this role is 46,305 BDT (Consolidated)
Contract Period: 6 months (Can be extend up to 1 year) Contractual position. Extension depends on 6 monthly and yearly performance evaluation.

Primary Responsibilities |
- The PSS Support Officer will be responsible Provide direct individual mental health and psychosocial support to children, including group-based psychosocial activities through MPCAC
- Support and monitoring psychosocial volunteer- support individual case where support required and provide regular monitoring of all aspects of psychosocial support services
- Capacity building and monitoring- Build the capacities of the team in organizing and implementing community-based psychosocial activities and recreational activities, monitor regular activities of volunteers, coaching & mentoring and on-going support for PSS volunteer at the community level.
- Awareness’ raising- Support volunteer to conduct awareness for parents on PSS/ positive parenting, assessment data collection, psycho education for community sensitization on PSS
- Documentation -Document all program and client activity in an accurate and timely manner using standardized tools and forms, ensure confidentiality and that data protection and information sharing protocols are respected, strongly preserve service wise data and status for verifications and analysis, required and prepare authenticate case story
- Field visit- he/she will have to investment at least 40% (weekly 02 days or monthly 08 days) of total working hours for necessity field visit (MPCAC to individual HH’s)
- Planning- he/she will prepare advance planning of the daily, weekly and monthly plan and submit to his/her 1st supervisor for the next month by 29 of each month

Secondary Responsibilities |
- Networking and liaison- Identify key local implementing partners and ensure strategic relationships are built and maintained, interact, build and nurture effective working relationships with relevant GO/NGOs, United Nations Agencies, and Civil Society Organizations in order to foster coordination, collaboration and partnership
- Reporting- Daily program report through kobo tools, submit bi weekly/monthly ONA report to center manager.
- Maintain positive coordination and relationship with other partners in the field to promote holistic approach to pss service delivery

5. Capacity Requirement:
- Sound knowledge and understanding of CP and PSS and humanitarian principles
- Have practical experience in humanitarian related work.
- Must know Chattogram/Rohingya language.
- Fully computer literate and demonstrated a high understanding of Microsoft Office programs (Word & Excel)
- Positive attitude towards social service and adaptability to organizational vision and values
- Ability to deal with community people with a positive manner and mentality to work for the marginal people
- Accountable for supporting, upholding, and engaging in GN community-led approaches
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with external partners and capacity to interact in a multicultural environment.
