The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a federal enterprise with worldwide operations. We support the German Government in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. We are also engaged in international education activities around the globe. Through our work we assist people and societies in shaping their own future and improving living condition.
GIZ has been working as a development partner of Bangladesh since 1972 under bilateral agreement. Currently, we are working in the areas of renewable energy, adaptation to climate change, textile and leather sector, biodiversity, as well as good governance, displacement, and migration.
For the ‘Liveable and Inclusive Cities for All (LICA)’ project, GIZ requires the services of a firm for carrying out “Consultancy services for the implementation of awareness raising for Urban Environmental Management (UEM)”. GIZ is looking for a suitable Consulting firm/organization which has extensive working experience in this field with the following competencies:
- Implementing awareness-raising strategies and campaigns with a focus on environmental topics in the schools
- Cooperating with actors from national and local governments, civil society, and the private sector
- Using interactive and participatory approaches for awareness raising and education with a focus on children, young people and vulnerable groups
- Experience of conducting school-based campaign engaging students, teachers, guardians and development partners
- Module development for training for youth and training on Journalism, writing and editing skill
- Videography (including developing script on environment awareness raising)
Consulting firm with these pre-requisite qualifications should also provide the following documents along with their Expression of Interest (EoI):
- Technical -methodological concept
- Company Brochure
- Sample of works
- List of current client companies being serviced by the company (Reference projects and products)
- All up-to-date Trade License documents, with Tax Certificate
- Detailed CVs of the lead consultant and proposed experts

Firms with relevant and proven experience are invited to submit their Technical and Financial Proposals by 11th January 2026.
