The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a federal enterprise with worldwide operations. GIZ has been working as a development partner of Bangladesh since 1972 under bilateral agreement. Currently, we are working in the areas of renewable energy, adaptation to climate change, textile and leather sector, biodiversity, as well as good governance, displacement, and migration.
For the ‘Strengthening Institutions for Climate Change Adapted Water Resource Management in Dhaka)’ project, GIZ requires the services of a firm for carrying out “Awareness and Capacity Building Support to Local government Institutions on waste management for Meghna River Protection”. GIZ is looking for a suitable Consulting firm / organization which has extensive working experience in this field with the following competencies:
- Designing and implementing awareness-raising strategies and campaigns with a focus on environmental / river pollution control related topics
- Cooperating with actors from national and local governments, civil society, and the private sector
- Using interactive and participatory approaches for awareness raising and education for Local level institute, community people, schools etc.
- Preparing communication materials, Videography.
Consulting firm with these pre-requisite qualifications should also provide the following documents along with their Expression of Interest (EoI):
- Technical -methodological concept
- Company Brochure
- Sample of works
- List of current client companies being serviced by the company (Reference projects and products)
- All up-to-date Trade License documents, with Tax Certificate
- Detailed CVs of proposed experts

Firms with relevant and proven experience are invited to submit their Technical and Financial Proposals by 30th November 2025. The proposals must be sent in separate emails and addressed to the Contracts, Procurement & IT Unit.
