GIZ has been working as a development partner of Bangladesh since 1972 under bilateral agreement. Currently, we are working in the areas of renewable energy, adaptation to climate change, textile and leather sector, biodiversity, as well as good governance, displacement, and migration.
For the ‘Strengthening Institutions for Climate Change Adapted Drinking Water Resources Management in Dhaka (SAIDABAD)’ project, GIZ requires the services of a firm for “Development of Cloud-Based Platform for Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Operation and Compliance Monitoring”. GIZ is looking for a suitable Consulting firm/organization which has extensive working experience in this field with the following competencies:
- Proven expertise in industrial effluent treatment plant (ETP) assessment, design, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in developing cloud-based monitoring platforms for industrial operational information (ETP) data and regulatory compliance.
- Capability to develop SOPs, self-monitoring digital tools, reporting templates, and performance dashboards for ETPs.
- Experience in integrating manual and automated data inputs (such as flow meters, lab tests, chemical dosing etc) into digital systems.
- Track record in training and capacity building on ETP operations, monitoring procedures, and digital platform use.
- Proven ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder projects involving government agencies, industries, and development partners.
- Multidisciplinary team with environmental, engineering, IT, and training expertise, including local contextual experience.
Consulting firm with these pre-requisite qualifications should also provide the following documents along with their Expression of Interest (EoI):
- Technical -methodological concept
- Company Brochure
- List of current client companies being serviced by the company (Reference projects and products)
- All up-to-date Trade License documents, with Tax Certificate
- Detailed CVs of proposed experts
