GIZ has been working as a development partner of Bangladesh since 1972 under bilateral agreement. Currently, we are working in the areas of renewable energy, adaptation to climate change, textile and leather sector, biodiversity, as well as good governance, displacement, and migration.
Energising Development (EnDev) is a global technical assistance programme that has been working in Bangladesh since 2009, implemented by GIZ Bangladesh. EnDev’s key implementing partner is Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority (SREDA) and the political partner is Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources. EnDev has facilitated access to modern and clean energy solutions for rural households and businesses. In Bangladesh, the programme has supported the provision of clean cooking technology and solar energy solutions. So far, over 2.2 million people have been reached with clean cooking technology and over 1.8 million people with access to electricity. Currently EnDev programme in Bangladesh focuses on three main areas: development of the market for e-cooking appliances, support for biomass based improved cook stoves, including policy support for the sector, and demonstration of business case for solar battery charging stations for e-rickshaws.
GIZ is seeking a qualified consulting firm with extensive experience in the field of social services to support “83491936 - Communication Support and Documentation of Achievements under EnDev Bangladesh’’. The firm will be responsible for developing compelling communication materials, documenting success stories, organizing impactful events, and producing high-quality printed and audio-visual content. The objective is to effectively showcase the achievements and impact of EnDev Bangladesh through strategic communication efforts. Following tasks need to be performed under this contract-
- Produce a professionally filmed and edited documentary (approximately 3–5 minutes) highlighting the journey and impact of EnDev in Bangladesh.
- Collect success stories, photographs, and video footage, including interviews with beneficiaries and stakeholders/partners in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Satkhira, and Khulna divisions, as identified by the GIZ EnDev team.
- Design and develop printed communication materials, with the provision of high-quality printing services.
- Provide logistical support for up to three workshops, including those held in Dhaka and Rajshahi City.

The envelopes shall be addressed to “The Contracts and Procurement Unit” denoted with remark “83491936 - Communication Support and Documentation of Achievements under EnDev Bangladesh”.
