GIZ has been working as a development partner of Bangladesh since 1972 under bilateral agreement. Currently, we are working in the areas of renewable energy, adaptation to climate change, textile and leather sector, biodiversity, as well as good governance, displacement, and migration.
For the ‘Policy Advisory for Promoting Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (PAP)’ project, GIZ requires the services of a firm for carrying out “83484318 - Performance Optimization and Service Enhancement of the Unified Online Net Metering Application System”. GIZ is looking for a suitable Consulting firm/organization which has extensive working experience in this field with the following competencies:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining online application monitoring and evaluation platforms for government agencies or distribution utilities.
- Expertise in integrating third-party services and platforms through APIs and communication protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of database integration, query optimization, and working with the integration of billing modules
- Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive technical maintenance support, including setting up service desks, managing incident tickets, and resolving issues at multiple support levels.
- Track record of effectively addressing user feedback and resolving technical challenges to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.
- Extensive knowledge of national and international software standards, coding conventions, and best practices for software development.
- Experience in knowledge management, including the development of user manuals, technical documentation, and system guidelines.
- Ability to develop training materials and organize workshops, and awareness session.
- Cooperating with multiple stakeholders, including national and local government agencies, civil society, and the private sector.
- Working in or with Development Cooperation projects
