Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH provides services worldwide in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is our main commissioning party, but we also work with the private sector, fostering successful interaction between development policy and foreign trade.
For the Climate Resilient Inclusive Smart Cities (CRISC) Project, GIZ requires the services of 2 (Two) Individual consultants for “Citizen participation in Sathkhira” and “Citizen participation in Sirajganj”. GIZ is looking for 2 (Two) suitable individual consultants who have extensive working experience in this field with the following competencies:
- University degree (at least master’s level) in educational sciences, geography, urban and regional planning, social sciences, or similar relevant fields
- At least 10 years of experience in community mobilization, child and women rights issues, social and economic inclusion, networking and community and other relevant fields.
- At least 05 years of working experience in paurashava / city corporations in Bangladesh
Individual consultants with these pre-requisite qualifications should provide the following documents:
- A brief technical proposal on the understanding of the TOR (NOT MORE THAN 05 PAGES), a detail CV (NOT MORE THAN 04 PAGES) and an Up-to-date Tax Certificate
- Financial Offer

It is mentioned here that one consultant could only send an offer for one position (Sirajganj OR Satkhira).
Interested parties with relevant and proven experience shall Submit Technical and Financial Proposal by 28 September 2022 in separate sealed envelope to the reception desk of Climate, GIZ Bangladesh.
