Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH provides services worldwide in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ has over 50 years of experience in a wide variety of areas, including economic development and employment, energy and the environment, and peace and security. The diverse expertise of our federal enterprise is in demand around the globe, with the German Government, European Union institutions, the United Nations and governments of other countries all benefiting from our services. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is our main commissioning party, but we also work with the private sector, fostering successful interaction between development policy and foreign trade.

GIZ invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputable consulting companies seeking to support and capacitate our partner organization(s) in establishing and running a due diligence help desk for the RMG sector. The minimum qualification of interested company can be determined by followings:

1. Having minimally ten (10) years of experience in providing advisory services to private sector in regard to sustainability and Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence topics.
   
2. The firm should have minimally five (5) years of professional experience in implementing training and capacity building measure.
   
3. Having minimally five (5) years of experience in editing, public relations and event management.
   
4. Should have very good understanding about ready-made garment industries in Bangladesh.
   
5. Having past experiences of working with GIZ would be beneficial.

Interested parties with relevant and proven experience shall Submit Technical and Financial Proposal by 28th of August 2022 as per given instructions. The envelopes shall be addressed to “Contracts, Procurement & IT Unit” denoted with remark “83415581-Capacity building for due diligence unit”.
