Request for Bids

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a global service provider in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development and international education work to shaping a future worth living around the world. As a public-benefit Federal Government organisation, GIZ supports the German Government, particularly the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) implementing development projects. In Bangladesh, GIZ is implementing the technical cooperation projects in the areas of energy, climate change, textile, human rights under the bilateral agreement, signed on 15 July 1972 between the Bangladesh and German Governments.

GIZ invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputable companies to supply the following categorized of goods:

The minimum qualification of suppliers will be determined by followings:

1. The company must have valid trade license, VAT and TIN certificate
2. Minimum operating age of the firm must be 3 years or more
3. Authorized Partner/Dealer/Reseller of the Manufacturers will get added advantage
4. Delivery from ready stock is required
5. Supplier must provide warranty and after sales services brief description on after sales services procedure
6. Supplier have the capability of deliver the goods in Outside of Dhaka 

Interested companies with above qualifications only are requested to collect specifications of the products and terms and conditions separately by sending an email to procurement-bangladesh@giz.de with subject line (i.e Inquiry no & category name). Please do not create single quotation for all category of product.   

Please email the financial offer describing detail technical specifications with seal and signature along with following documents to BD_Quotation@giz.de (do not cc) by 9th December 2021 with subject line – Inquiry no, Category Name – “your company name”.

Required documents to be emailed:

1. Financial offer including TAX and VAT amount needs to be mentioned separately.
2. Technical offer (Detail specifications with product sample design of the quoted items with warranty details)
3. Company Profile and list of clients (contact details of at least 2 Nos international renowned NGOs/organizations as reference where they have supplied sustainable/eco friendly product
4. Supporting documents of the minimum qualification such as copy of valid trade license, VAT, TIN certificates, proof of minimum 3 years of operating age of the firm, dealer certification etc. where applicable)

Maximum size of email must be 20 Mb so send more than one e-mail if required with same subject

Sending offer in wrong email address can cause offer rejection.

Failing to fulfil minimum qualification and submit required documents as per instructions may cause disqualifications of the supplier. 

GIZ reserves the right to accept or reject offers in part or full without assigning any reason whatsoever.
