Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH provides services worldwide in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ has over 50 years of experience in a wide variety of areas, including economic development and employment, energy and the environment, and peace and security. The diverse expertise of our federal enterprise is in demand around the globe, with the German Government, European Union institutions, the United Nations and governments of other countries all benefiting from our services. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is our main commissioning party, but we also work with the private sector, fostering successful interaction between development policy and foreign trade.

GIZ invites reputable consulting companies to assess the existing curriculum of Textile Diploma Institutes on social and ecological sustainability topics based on an industry need assessment. The minimum qualification of interested consulting companies should be:

  • Work experience in the education sector of Bangladesh, specifically with Textile Diploma Institutes, the textile industry and government agencies  
  • Knowledge in social and ecological sustainability in the textile sector of Bangladesh and in sustainable corporate management
  • Expertise in curriculum assessment, its tools and techniques
  • Professional background in conducting qualitative and quantitative studies and data analysis
  • Work experience with GIZ or other international development agencies will be an asset

Companies with these pre-requisite qualifications can collect the detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) and relevant documents by email through contract-bangladesh@giz.de until 29th September 2021.
