The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is our main commissioning party, but we also work with the private sector, fostering successful interaction between development policy and foreign trade.

This specific assignment is part of the implementation of a project called “Shurokkha-Advocacy for Employment Injury Insurance (EII)”, commissioned is by the Laudes Foundation (GIZ invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputable consulting firms seeking to provide Baseline, Midline and Endline assessments on EII knowledge of workers and rapid assessment for EII publications at various locations in Bangladesh. The minimum qualification of interested consulting firms can be determined by followings:

  • 10 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative surveys in the area of knowledge assessments, e.g. KAP surveys, including proven record of having completed 5 survey projects involving statistical analysis with a sample size above 1000 in the last 10 years.
  • Thorough understanding about Bangladesh Labour Act 2006 (2013) and rules 2015.
  • Proven record of having worked for 3 projects in the garment sector (focus on trade unions and labour representatives) with a clearly defined role and responsibility of 3 person months each in the last 5 years.
  • Proven experience in working with survey in the field of social protection will be given preferences
  • Proven record of having completed 3 projects for international organizations in the field of development cooperation in the last 5 years
  • Ability to use innovative, participatory methodology for conducting the survey
  • Currently have an office in Dhaka.

Interested parties with relevant and proven experience shall Submit Technical and Financial Proposal by 15th August, 2020 in separate sealed envelopes to the reception desk of PO Box 6091, Gulshan 1, Dhaka-1212, and Bangladesh.
