Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH provides services worldwide in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ has over 50 years of experience in a wide variety of areas, including economic development and employment, energy and the environment, and peace and security. The diverse expertise of our federal enterprise is in demand around the globe, with the German Government, European Union institutions, the United Nations and governments of other countries all benefiting from our services. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is our main commissioning party, but we also work with the private sector, fostering successful interaction between development policy and foreign trade.

GIZ invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputable Security Service Providers to provide trained security guards at various locations in Bangladesh. The minimum qualification of the Security Service Provider to participate in the bidding process mentioned below:

  1. Have been operating as a Security Service Provider for at least Eight (08) years;
  2. Have a current and valid “Trade” License registered as a Security Service Provider Company;
  3. Have a current and valid License as Security Service Provider Company by “Department of Labour, Ministry of Labour and Employment”.
  4. Have experience on providing security guard services to Multinational Companies, Embassies, Development Cooperation, UN Agencies, INGOs
  5. Currently have office in Dhaka with sub offices in Rajshahi, Khulna and Cox’s Bazar.
  6. Have BTRC license to use Radio Sets.
  7. Have the ability to monitor and communicate with the deployed guards via Mobile or Radio through company’s “24/7 Operation Room”.
  8. Have the ability to operate as “Quick Response Force” with Company owned Security Vehicles for Emergency/Incident Response.
  9. Have the capacity to provide “Close Protection and Unarmed Vehicle Escorts” in Dhaka and with an option in Rajshahi, Khulna and Cox’ Bazar.
  10. Must provide “Client Satisfaction Survey Report” of at least 03 International Organisation

Note: Without the above-mentioned minimum criteria, the bid will not be considered further.

Companies with above mentioned pre-requisite qualifications must provide the relevant document in favour of the minimum criteria and also provide following document along with their Expression of Interest (EOI) by email through contract-bangladesh@giz.de :

  1. Company Brochure
  2. List of current client companies being serviced by the company
  3. Financial Documents with yearly turn over
  4. Valid and up-to-date Tax Certificate
