GIZ Bangladesh is currently seeking applications for the position of “Intern” from candidates who are attending a course of further study of which the completion of an internship is an integral component or have graduated no more than six months before commencing the internship.

A. Responsibilities:
The incumbent will work under the general and overall supervision and guidance of the Head of Unit of Portfolio Management and Communications, GIZ Bangladesh. In order to fulfil his/her tasks s/he will work in close coordination with Senior Advisor (Communications and Knowledge Management).
In this context, the position holder fulfils the following tasks:

The position holder is responsible to
- Design year-end materials such as notebook, desk calendar, monitor, etc.
- Design a four-page GIZ Bangladesh Result Card using the world-wide survey results of GIZ and published in 2018
- Support developing communications materials such as banners, leaflets, posters, roll-outs, X-banner etc.
- Support designing factsheets and country brochure
- Support PMC Unit with developing presentations
- Further development of the existing PR materials and products
- Come up with ideas of creative communications materials that grab the attention of and convey the message to the audience
Other duties/additional tasks
- Support the team in any additional task that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
C. Required qualifications, competences and experience
Academic qualifications
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in the area of Graphic designing.
Professional experience
Other knowledge, additional competences
- Familiar with gender issues in the country or region
- Willing to get familiarized with GIZ’s Code of Conduct
- Good command of English (written / verbal)
- A good team player
- Ability to work on own initiative
