Hub Lead

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute the business strategies and implement the operation plans to Apparel team covering product categories of woven and knits for all genders and lingerie
  • Oversee and operate all merchandising / sourcing as well as quality activities for the office
  • Managing all internal and external correspondence, liaison and negotiation with suppliers and vendors
  • Participate in company strategic planning activities and recommend improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement, efficiencies of operation processes and growth of the business
  • Manage and provide guidelines to the areas of sourcing, quality and office support 
  • Review and update working practices and procedures for continuous improvement
  • Cultivate and maintain harmonious in the Company and provide effective means of communications channels between the Management, functional heads in HK office and the teams to facilitate mutual understanding
  • Solves problems and deal with issues professionally and promptly as arise
  • Report to Director and General Manager

Job Requirement

  • Degree or master holder in business administration or operations management or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sourcing / trading companies of apparel industry, Experience in working MNC is advantage
  • Ability to work under a matrix reporting structure, work under pressure and meet the deadlines
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skill with in-depth operational knowledge
  • Able to work with EU customer is a must
  • High sense of responsibility and initiatives, well-organized and attentive to details
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skill to deal with customers and factories
  • Occasional travel is required
  • Good command of both spoken and written English. Proficiency in French is an advantage
