Job Responsibilities:

• Develop new or improved formulas, products, and/or processes as per requirement.
  Apply standard formulation techniques to develop new products.
  
• Analyze organic and inorganic components to determine chemical and physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, and reactions.
  
• Conduct all required performance and stability tests, interpret records and reports results.
  
• Ensures proper documentation and maintenance of lab documentations.
  
• Performs QC, experimental, developmental and analytical tests on raw materials and finished goods.
  
• Ensure raw materials are stored in proper environment at the production unit.
  
• Maintain ‘Good Laboratory Practice’ to keep the laboratory free form chemical hazards.
  
• Proactively identifies new formula bases and cost savings opportunities.
  
• Maintain all necessary documents to meet the requirements of BSTI & other Govt. or Non Govt authority.
  
• Conduct in house quality inspection audit for development.
  
• Keep the confidentiality of all documents/ formulas etc.
  
• Prepare & submit reports to the management on regular intervals.

Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Requirements: Masters in Chemistry

Experience Requirements

• 5 to 7 years technical experience in the cosmetic & Herbal industry with 2 or more years of supervisory experience

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of basic principles of cosmetic & Herbal science.
  
• Ability to formulate and test cosmetic & Herbal product formulations.
  
• Ability to apply interpersonal skills to resolve routine problems.
  
• Ability to conceptualize and apply innovative solutions
