Job Responsibilities:

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be the Executive head of Association for Peoples Development STREM. S/he will safeguard the necessary elements for transparency in every single project and program under the STREM along with liaising with donors and beneficiaries regarding the needs of the community and the individual at any point. S/he will be ultimately responsible for the inception of new projects and the successful implementation of running programs and projects in consultation with authorities. 
Overseeing the overall responsibilities of the Organization, which includes but not limited to:

  • Personnel Management: Control/ implementation of training, transfer, promotion, penalty, leave, etc. of all staff of STREM.
  • Selection of working area/Branch.
  • S/he shall present the necessary reports to Executive Board.
  • Submit reports to MRA/donors/funding agencies (monthly/quarterly/half yearly/yearly and according to their demand).
  • Shall take initiatives for Audit and evaluation of the project and program by a team comprising of internal and external personnel.
  • S/he will approve all necessary formats/registers prepared by Senior Management.
  • S/he will arrange meeting of General and Executive Board and act as a Member secretary of all those meeting.
  • Introducing new products, new techniques and projects for the implementation of the different project and program of Steam.
  • To organize training for staff development. 
  • To communicate with related organizations, both locally and internationally, regarding the innovation of new techniques and arts to implement those in the Microfinance and other development program.
  • To prepare monthly analytical reports on the overall progress with a ratio and situation analysis and submit it to the Board on time.
  • Shall visit branch offices on monthly basis and give feedback and feedforward to Branch staff for improvement.
  • Keep records of “Performance Report” of the Program Personnel that will be used as a tool in considering advancement.
  • To manage fund for smooth implementation of different projects and programs.
  • Ensure effective management of funds at Branch level in consultation with Senior Management
  • S/he will prepare the appropriate principles for the successful implementation of the Program and take initiatives to send them out to the field in the form of circulars.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s degree with at 10 years’ experience on microfinance. Chartered Accountant with relevant experiences will be preferable. Working experience with foreign team will be an added experience.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Computer knowledge on MS Word, Excel, Power point is required
  • Analytical ability, knowledge on budget preparation and fluency in English is essential.
