Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB), an affiliate of International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), is the oldest and largest family planning non-government organization in Bangladesh. Established/Founded in 1953, it pioneered the family planning movement in the country.

FPAB aims to improve the quality of lives of individuals, by campaigning for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) through advocacy and services, especially for poor and vulnerable people.

Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB) is seeking applications for the following position:

Position: Deputy Director (Resource Mobilization)

Major Responsibilities:

  • To identify and mapping of different funding sources and timely submission or quality Concept Notes, Expression of Interest (EOI), and Project
  • To prepare/develop and implement resource mobilization strategy
  • To prepare necessary papers for exploring funding opportunities, and communicate and arrange meetings with prospective donors
  • To identify and synthesize best practices and lessons learnt directly linked to resource mobilization

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post–graduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, Statistics, Anthropology or any other relevant subjects, or equivalent professional degree
  • 8 year’s experience (at least 3 years in a relevant field in senior position)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work under pressure and excellent time management skills.

Salary scale: Negotiable

Other Benefits: Two yearly festival bonuses (each equivalent to one month’s basic salary); Baishakhi allowance, recreation allowance, gratuity fund, group insurance and other benefits as per FPAB Service Rules.

Age: Maximum 50 years.
